In 2005 my 1 yr old rat terrier lab mix had a knot that came up on his neck about the size of a golf ball. I took him to a vet and with a needle and syringe they drained 40cc's of fluid out. They said that they didn't think it was anything big and to drain it again if it needed it. So for the next two days I kept draining 40cc's out. I took him to another vet in my hometown and asked them to open it up and take a look. A few hours later I came back in to pick him up and they showed me the mass of purple tissue they had taken out and said it was probably cancer and we would know in a few days. I was worried. The test results came back positive for cancer, so she put me in touch with a cancer vet in Memphis Tn. My mom and I took my dog to the cancer vet there and she did some other exams and also told me that she thought the tests looked a little strange and wanted to re-run some of them and wasn't entirely sure what kind of cancer it was or if it was cancer. For a week I was devastated and hopeful. Even though I had been raised in a religous family, I had never been all that religous myself. I began to pray. Earnestly, not bargaining. I prayed numerous times for my dog that it not be cancer. Finally the cancer vet called and asked me if I would like some good news. She said that the tests came back negative for cancer and that all that he had was a fancy word (necrotizing steatitis) for tissue cells destroying themselves over an initial injury of some kind. I praised God for healing my dog so much in fact that I wrote a poem:
My Miracle
He was just a baby, a throw away
That I rescued from a litter of nine
I didn't know what kind he was
How big he'd get, but he was going to be mine
I bought food and toys and tennis balls
For my little black dog with white speckled paws
I even let him sleep in bed with me at night.
One day when he was a year and a half
I found a knot and rushed him to the vet
The tests confirmed my greatest fear
The answer was cancer
My eyes started to tear
"No, not my dog!" I heard myself say
Lord, what can I do I started to pray
I notified family and friends of my need
And Pokey's oncologist Dr. Kathy agreed.
That God moves in people's and animals lives like that
They're not just horses or pigs or dogs or cats
Animals are special little creatures too
You can just see Jesus when they come walking through
The appointment was made for the very next week
New tests were run and we changed what foods Pokey would eat
Everything went in a whirlwind of change
A cat scan was ordered while an infection still raged
While we waited on antibiotics to clear up the rest
I got a call I didn't expect
It was Dr.Kathy with some really good news on the phone
There's no evidence of cancer
The lab tests were wrong
I praised Jesus for the work he had done
Through his healing, Dr.Kathy's hands
And my faith...we had won!
I now have my dog as healthy as can be
Lying on my bed, happy and sleeping
Right beside me.
Since that day, we almost lost Pokey again. I guess I didn't believe strong enough that Jesus had healed my dog the first time, so he just had to show me. I had wondered if it might have just been a coincidence that he didn't have cancer and not actually been healed of it, so this time it was worse. My mom, aunt, grandma and I had gone to Branson shopping for three days and my dad had kept Pokey with him. We have a big fenced in back yard and sometime during the day my dad had let him out to "be a dog" and enjoy the outside. That Saturday night my dad called us and told us that Pokey was throwing up and had been all evening. I figured it was just something he ate. Dogs do throw up occasionally. The next day by the time we had gotten home, he was still throwing up. I took him to the vet the next day and they gave him some anti-nausea pills and something to coat the stomach and a shot. He kept throwing up. A day or two later he got a bag of fluid and more medication and came home. By Thursday his eyes and skin were turning yellow. This was bad. I took him back to the vet, they drew labs. It didn't look good. His levels of everything were out the roof. They started him on continuous I.V. fluids to flush him out and wanted to keep him there. He stayed all night Thursday and Friday. I went to see him before closing Friday and they were not hopeful. He had gotten some toxin that had affected his liver and they gave him less than a 50/50 chance.
I came home and cried and cried and prayed again to God to save my dog. I finally got up from crying and decided to try to find an answer. I researched the internet until 4 or 6am and found a site where another lady had a dog with liver disease and had a regimne of vitamins she gave him to detoxify his liver and he had outlived his expectancy of his disease by two years. I felt like this was right, so I downloaded the book she had to buy on the internet and went to my vet the next day with the information and said; "I want to do this" My vet was all for it, and had ! in fact already started giving him a couple of the same things she had in her office. I went to a health food mart and with assistance, found all the rest. My vet allowed me to take my dog home over the next two days as long as I would hook him back up to the I.V. myself and run fluids in him throughout the day. She gave me a list of which vitamins to give and how many tims a day. I started poking 20 something vitamins down my dog twice a day on Saturday. Some bribed with cheese and hot dogs, some by just poking them down his throat. I ran fluids in and asked him to be still and to my amazement he would lie down on the floor and not move. Again, I searched the internet for "Healing Scriptures" and spoke words of life over my dog. By Sunday evening, his eyes were not yellow anymore and he was able to hold down water for the first time in a week. I took him in to the vet on Monday and they were shocked. They said he was a whole different dog and that he could stay at home with me as long as I would just keep doing what I was doing. Each week some of his labs would be up and others would be down. We checked them every week for over a month and little by little they all returned to normal. I still have them in a folder today. God showed me not once, but twice that it was Him that saved my dog. Not coincidence, not medicine, but again my faith and Gods grace and mercy. That was in November 2005. I still have Pokey today in November 2008 and I love him so much. Never underestimate the power of prayer. There will come a time that everything dies, but sometimes it can be changed by prayer.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I am so happy to report that Koko has had an amazing turnaround. The vet had basically said there was no hope...but prayer changes everything!...To make a very long story short...He had a bladder blockage, and the vet thought he had irreversible kidney damage.. However, his blood work now is all normal...normal kidney function. He is back to his normal sweet little spoiled self, thank God. This has made me realize how much God cares about everything in our lives, including our precious pets. After all, they are His original idea and creation and He loves them very much. They show us His perfect unconditional love. Thanks again for all your prayers and realize that with God all things are possible for you and your sweet pets!

Truly a miracle...Sweet, spirited, fast-running Lu Lu Courtney escaped from her yard Monday night and ran into traffic on 45th street. Her little white body darting back and forth, as her owner horrified and running after her watched on,...was struck by a car. The force from the blow spun her away from the speeding cars where her owner scooped her up and immediately got her to the vet. The shallow breathing and stiff body on the way to vet was a horrible sign to the owners. Would Lu Lu's trip to the vet be her last? No...indeed NO! No broken bones, no torn fur or skin, no brain, eye, or ear damage. This little white ball of fur had escaped her near-death accident, head held high...a little limp (hopefully to be fully recovered from ) and her spirit in tact. We are all very thankful for this MIRACLE...thank you baby Jesus for watching over Lu Lu, thank you Sarah Byrd and Lexi for watching over her too...In all of your names we pray...

About 2 years ago my daughter had become very attached to a kitten that lived on a farm my husband was working on, but I wouldn't let her bring it home. I was very ill and he took the kids with him throughout most of that summer. This tiny kitten became very ill and they bought bottles, medicine, special food, and tried to nurse it. But one day it had just gotten really bad, screamed out in pain and fell over dead as far as they could tell. My son said it was the saddest, most pitiful thing he'd ever seen. He and his father began to pray over the cat, and my son asked God if he could please save the kitten and give it back to his sister, and just that quick it jumped back up as if something startled it and was perfectly fine after that. We don't talk about this a lot because some people might consider it blasphemous, but all I know is what our family experienced, and that God answered a little boy's prayer.

We took Valentino back to the doctor and his tests came back normal. His xray was much improved, but there is one area that still need's God's intervention. The doctor was amazed at his progress in three days. He said he was "shocked" by the improvement in him. Praise God! I truly appreciate all those who took the time to pray. May God bless you!

Good Morning all! Mom here I have great news about Baby..She started to eat on Friday!! Yayayaya she ate a whole can of food when I was there and kept eating during the weekend! Her Doctor said that she’s improving each day. On Saturday they got a new blood test and this time came back almost normal. Her Cells were at 400 when all this started and on the last blood test she’s 16,500 which is great almost normal (Normal Values are 17,000) also she’s not vomiting anymore so they are going to take out the IV fluids to see how she will do. If things continuum going this way she will come home on Wednesday!! Anyhow I will have to keep her n isolation for 6 weeks to avoid direct contact with my others babies. The rest of the family are doing okay so far! They got re-vaccinated a week ago and they will get a second shot on Friday 25th. I want to thank each of you for Praying and Purring for Baby and for us as always Purrs do worked!!! Please if you have time keep Praying for all of us Ashlye, Cinderella, Sock, Simi, Awnee, Jinx, Cassidy, Shrimp & Negrito since we need one more week to go to start feeling a little more safe!!

Hello again! I just wanted to let you know that today Bonnie's oncologist said that he
was starting to see the slightest improvement in the appearance of where her
cancer originated! I cannot tell you how much all of these prayers mean to us watching her
working so hard to heal. She is a fighter and I just know that she is going to have a

Notified you this morning about Bruski, a 8 month Lab/Shep puppy. He had something lodged in his small intentines, and the vet was going to operate this afternoon. Notified prayer line, and just know how much Jesus loves animals. When the doctors took 2nd set of x-rays, nothing could be found! He will be able to go home tonight! They were amazed...we weren't...Prayers work..Thank you Jesus, and all who prayed for him..God bless all the other animals.

I just wanted to thank everyone on this site for their prayers for
Shadow & Nibbletts. Shadow has the fip virus but not disease, so I won't
have to put my four & a half yr old cats to sleep! I had everyone I
know praying for them; I was completely distraught & sick! I'm keeping my
eye on both of them & so is my vet. but this miracle came from God &
all the Angels & Saints, & the people praying for them! Prayers really

Thanks to God and everyone who prayed for my pet and good friend,
Scout, the 9 year old toy poodle.
Scout had been diagnosed with acute renal failure; liver failure;
pancreatitis; and diabetes. Scout was given very little chance for
survival.
I am pleased to report that although Scout is now insulin dependent, he
has fully recovered and is doing great!
It was truly a miracle! I want to thank everyone who thought and
prayed for Scout. I will be eternally grateful. The owners of this site
and those who frequent it are true Angels on Earth.

On 31 Jan 08 I have requested to pray for my Rambo who suffered from
bad purging blood. Being a heart patient, my vet told me his condition
was very bad and he was very weak. This news was very painful to me. I could
not accept it. I know nothing is greater than prayer. I lifted him up in
petsprayerlist. Today, 4 Feb 08, he is fine running around and barking
and slowly eating. I decided to share this little miracle story of my
Rambo in this miracle report. Some say he is only an animal why so much
attention but only I know how much Rambo mean a lot to me. Please

On 1/2/08 I posted a prayer request for our little Minnie she is the
one with the inoperable kidney stones. They test her every six weeks for
signs of kidney failure and happy to report that no crystals were
found in her urine, no bacteria, and the ultrasound shown no stones. Her
alkaline level is still a little low but besides that, this was the best
report she has had since I have had her. I am so thankful for
everything even if this might be short-lived it just goes to show the power of
prayer and faith. Thank you to everyone who read our story and said a
prayer for poor Minnie. I continue to read the prayers everyday for
all of your animals and I wish them nothing but health and happiness.

Kitty eating!!! We were heart broken that prior to this he was schedule
to be put to sleep to eliminate his pain and suffering. He is still in
a crisis state and must have sub-Q treatments and medication. However,
just getting him to eat is an improvement. I am truly grateful to have
discovered this site and a group of people that believe in the power
of prayer to include all of God's creation. Thank you for providing this

Last night after an anointed minister of God prayed over Reggie by
phone - his owner had a dream that Reggie would be healed by faith and this
morning Reggie whom I posted a prayer request for last week - showed
signs that he was healing for the first time in 2 weeks - he has been
lame in his hind legs and was able to jump up from the patio onto a
raised area today on his own which is a miracle in itself! Praising God for

A few days ago I posted a prayer request for my cat, Buddy, that was
diagnosed with Heart Worm Disease. Thank you for everyone that prayed for
my little guy because the next day my vet called and stated that they
had retested his blood for heart worm and that it came back "negative",
but she still figured that he did heart worm because he had a
"positive" antibody test a few days before. Anyways we did yet another test,
and sure enough, we got the results today and they are NEGATIVE--he is
perfectly healthy and hopefully will be here for a long time to come. I
really do feel that this is a miracle and that God was listening and
answered our prayers. Thanks to everyone again for your thoughts and
prayers!

There has been a major turn for the better for Sammy. We know he isn't
declared fully recovered yet, but he had his sutures removed yesterday
(I helped hold him). He was given an appetite stimulant and some meds
for the incision. Last night when my husband started hand feeding him
he pulled away and went to the food bowl on his own. He's not really
drinking on his own yet, but he's eating dry food, wet food (truly amazing
as he hasn't liked it since kitten hood) and even cottage cheese! So
we're still helping with water and his cleaning (because of a soft collar
around his neck to keep him from licking his tummy). We thank you for
your continued prayers in the hope of a full and sustained recovery.
Yesterday morning we thought it might be his last week here. Today is
another universe.

At the end of August, I had reported that Buddy was close to death. It
turned out he had an enlarged liver from our failure to break him of
seed eating. Since that time, Buddy's weight seems to have stabilized, he
has a strong appetite, he feels warmer, and he is starting to make
sounds again and stay awake more often.
This is a hope we've been given, and power demonstration, both of God's
hand in Buddy's life. We thank all who have prayed for him. You have
made a difference because you cared enough to ask the Lord for His
healing. We ask that you please continue, for Buddy still needs to gain a
healthy weight, to cease drinking and urinating so much, and to regain
his joy and playfulness he used to have.

Leo has once again beat the odds for now and has come home. This time,
the vet discovered a tumor on his liver, which they say is cancer, but
for now all his symptoms, that had me rush him to the vet as an
emergency, have disappeared. I truly believe that God heard everyone's
prayers for Leo and is letting Leo stay with me a while longer. I don't know
how much time I will have with him, so please continue to pray for Leo.
This is the second time that a miracle has occurred and I was able to
bring my little boy home. Thank you all and God bless.

Howitzer has finally started to improve. He started eating again
yesterday and is able to keep it down. He still suffers from some
neurological problems because the infection entered his nervous system.
The vet says it might only be temporary. I want to thank everyone of you that
prayed for my little man. It is truly a miracle he survived all this.

August 21st I asked for prayers for Allie who was in very serious
condition. I actually took her to the vet to be euthanized on that day.
While at the vet I wanted to confirm with a blood test that it probably
was, indeed her kidneys that had finally given up. To my surprise, her
kidneys were fine. The vet said she wanted to give Allie "one more
chance". I agreed and for 3 more days she was with the vet who gave her
more IV fluids and tried to get her vomiting and diarrhea under control.
She also had to be forced fed for over 2 weeks so, I was not hopeful
but when I picked her up on Friday afternoon, she was weak but full of
life and I see an improvement every day. No more vomiting, a little
diarrhea and finally eating on her own. Right now she is sitting in my lap
as I type this...I am grateful for all of the prayers that were
bestowed upon this little cat and her vet.
My heart is full of thanks!!

A miracle occurred in Victoria Australia recently as a pet dog was
found in an awful impaling accident to do with a fence, I couldnt look at
the news all day but when I did I found the dog was alive and well and
saved by a vet...it was a miracle.
Thanks to God and kindly people in the community. Some animals are very
strong and God looks after them.

I wanted to pass along some fantastic news about my 14-year old Sheltie, Socks. A couple of months ago I requested prayer for her due to her being diagnosed with kidney failure. It was most-likely due to the contaminated dog food problem that so many have faced.
She has made a total recovery from her problems!! All her blood levels were down to near normal for her age, she's eating great, active again and is back to her old self!! We do have to give her IV fluids each night to keep her from dehydrating, but that's only a 5 minute treatment and is no problem at all.
I want to thank everyone who prayed for her, and I especially thank GOD for healing her and letting us keep her a little while longer.

Thunder is 11 years old and he needed to be neutered because of
prostrate problems and of other problems. I submitted prayers for him. He
had the surgery on Tuesday the 15th. He had a hard time waking up even
with me there he just wouldn't wake up.
A nurse came in and said "Thunder you sleepy head are you going to get
up or sleep all day."
His eyes opened and he started to walk out of the cage but was very
wobbly but they carried him to my car. I got home and my husband and I
carried him to the living room where we had a mattress all ready for him.
Thunder laid there for about 5 min. Then got up and jumped into my bed
and slept all night.
I believe in prayers and I believe prayers from all of you and all of
my family and friends made Thunder wake up and come home to us.
As of today the 17th Thunder is eating and wide awake and sitting
outside with me.

I found a rescue center in another county who agreed to take Little
Dude and another kitten who showed up later yesterday. They normally only
accept animals from their own county, but made an exception for us,
thanks in NO small part to all the prayers sent out for Little Dude and
his little calico sister.

Sunday, November10, 2006 I had gotten up and went to sleep on the couch because of painfrom a pinched nerve in my neck. I was flat of my back and sleepingsound better than I had slept in a long time. I had a sinus thinghappening and believed it was okay I even sounded like a frog.Anyways I have a wonderful little girl who woke me gently she lickedmy ears nose and face until I woke and responded to her. She looked atme with "get up" and I did to a severe pain in my chest.Test could not say one-way or the other if I had a heart attack. Yet, Idid have fluid around my heart and lungs and one lung was trying tocollapse. Panzer has saved me before with allergy attacks. I did spend4 day in the hospital due to this illness. I really believe if not for PanzerI would have had major issues had she not been the loving attached dog she istoday. She sleeps in my room or any place I sleep.I had to share my life saver Panzer..Thanks,Judy Towner
