Bender is a one year old male, black and white tuxedo, who's trying hard to come home. He's our "big boy." Please help.

Ava has been under the weather with bloody/ runny noses. Her condition is up and down. Due to a heart condition, anesthesia is very risk. They are trying everything they can. The vet told us it might be a tumor. Ava is the light of my life - and the sweetest and most caring animal I have ever known. She spreads love wherever she goes. Please pray for her. Date of Request:11/20/08 Pet's Name: Mr. Snibbles Type of Animal: Kitten Location: Boone, NC Prayer Request: Mr. Snibbles came to the vet office I work at when his mother was hit by a car. He was bottle raised; but being the runt his siblings nursed on him. Scar tissue formed around his penis and prevented him from peeing. After a surgery to remove scar tissue on Oct 17th he healed nicely. However, a skin has seemed to form over the tip that is once again preventing him from peeing. He has a catheter in place for 10 days. If he can't pee on his own in 10 days I will have to have my kitten euthanatized. He is only 12 weeks old; he is much to young for the surgery he actually needs.

She has gone completely deaf in both ears. Before the procedure, she could hear me click my tongue outside from ten to twenty yards away. Now, she can't hear me clap my hands just above her head. This is so scary. She also acts very depressed and lethargic. Please join me in praying that this is a temporary thing, and that if it is permanent, that my wife and I will have the strength and wisdom to deal with it. Thank you very much.

I have no support. Pumpkin is my baby and I love her very much. She belonged to my mom who I lost earlier this year.. I've been praying but I feel like I'm alone in this. She has an infection in her nasal passages. Vet has been treating her and in a sterile environment she seems to do fine but upon returning home from the vet she almost immediately started drooling and sneezing blood and today her jaw started to shudder and lock from sneezing. Shells adopted Daffy not quite a year ago as Daffy came from an abusive home. Daffy is such a loving old lady and so sweet PLEASE ask God to heal her!

Date of Request:10/29/08 Pet's Name: Cayo Type of Animal: Cat Location: Portland, OR Prayer Request: Little Cayo was hit by a car on Friday. At first, it appeared that he was very lucky and sustained 'minor' injuries (internal swelling, major bruising, general pain). In a follow up visit today, we found that Cayo has spinal nerve damage, which may require his tail to be amputated, or worse yet, not able to control his bowels. I don't want to be forced to make a decision if he cannot control his bowels any longer. I love this cat - he is my shining light. He has such a personality that makes me laugh. Please pray for his full recovery - for many more years of being loved and giving unconditional love.

Date of Request:10/27/08 Pet's Name: Muffin Type of Animal: Dog Location: Akron Prayer Request: In 1984, Mildrid had to clip her pet bird's wings because her husband was very ill and the bird was annoying to him. Mildrid clipped the bird's wings too short and they started to bleed. Muffin, the dog, took the bird to his doggy bed and licked the bird's wounds and kept the bird saftely with her until she nursed the tiny bird back to health. After days with the dog, the bird was no longer was aloud into the doggy bed with Muffin. Muffin knew the bird was healed and no longer needed her attention.

I have been applying the antibiotic ointment daily...2 to 3 times...certain areas have healed but the ones that she keeps scratching are just not healing. The vet appt. is not until Saturday. And I am doing all I know to do to help her...please pray that God will touch her and begin this healing process. And let her be relieved from discomfort. She has never had a problem like this before. The only thing we can think of that started it was her sister cat Tara, scratched her. It looked like scratched abrasions to begin with. Some healed and some didn't The only other thing is a change in food. Don't know if it caused an allergy. But God knows and that's why I am on here seeking prayer! Thank you.

The kitten, Sierra, had to be put down earlier this morning. Lima is in critical condition at the ER. There is no antidote to this poison. I finally found her in our flowerbed, and she appeared to be all right. She looked up at me with those big gold eyes of hers and meowed. But when I picked her up then set her back down, I noticed that her right back leg was moving stiffly. I picked her up again and checked to see if she had a thorn in her paw or if there was any blood anywhere. I didn't find either one of those things, but she does have a problem with her leg. Right now, I don't have the money necessary to take her to the vet, but believe me,, if I could take her, I'd do it this minute. The best I can do now is keep her comfortable and pray for her. If everybody who reads this prayer request could please pray for Cheyenne, I'd really appreciate it. I want her to get well. Thank you.

Her cat, Callie, by accident was spooked and got out of the house and hasn't returned home. Its been 4 days and my friend is devastated. I think Callie has been around the new house in Clermont long enough to "sniff" her way home but I think she is terribly frightened. His name is Rex. He's a 1 yr. old min. pincher. He has been the highlight of most my days and the best friend to my 9 year old son. I can't begin to express the joy he has added to each of our lives. Yesterday morning we noticed he was not moving and was very bloated. Our first thought was that he may have constipation from a change in diet. After a visit to the vet and the inability to pay a large bill, we decided to give him till the next day, to leave him there. This morning there was no improvement. He is now at the vet with failing kidneys, liver and a lot of fluid was extracted. His chances are not good. We think this may have been the result of ingesting a black widow spider. The onset of his condition was very fast. He will remain at the vet for 2 days. Within such time I hope he recovers and we do not have to put him asleep. We love him very much and hope and pray for his recovery. We ask that you will pray for Rex as well. Thank you for letting me share this with you.

Her little white body darting back and forth, as her owner horrified and running after her watched on,...was struck by a car. The force from the blow spun her away from the speeding cars where her owner scooped her up and immediately got her to the vet. The shallow breathing and stiff body on the way to vet was a horrible sign to the owners. Would Lu Lu's trip to the vet be her last? No...indeed NO! No broken bones, no torn fur or skin, no brain, eye, or ear damage. This little white ball of fur had escaped her near-death accident, head held high...a little limp (hopefuly to be fully recovered from ) and her spirit in tact. We are all very thankful for this MIRACLE...thank you baby jesus for watching over Lu Lu, thank you Sarah Byrd and Lexi for watching over her too...In all of your names we pray...

A few days ago, my daughter Faith Marie and I were given a kitten a friend of hers saw thrown in a pillow case from a moving car. Thank goodness she was not hurt. Faith Marie named her Sapphire. I miss Booger-Gizmo, whom I held in his final hours, and thank God that He let me have those final moments with him. Why God chose to take Booger's life and let Blackie vanish, all in the same two weeks, I do not understand, but pray He will help me to. I also thank God for Sapphire's rescue.

But, Jensen offered to give up her horse back riding lessons, so we could afford to take the kitten to the Vet. We sent in a pet prayer request, when we were told she needed eye surgery to save her life. We now have a frisky 'toddler' kitten living in our home. He has been home with me since last Thursday. He is on steroids at the moment and a mild laxative. I give him these every morning. From his head to three quarters down his back he looks like a very healthy cat. He is wolfing down his food, washing himself, still inquisitive and still as affectionate as ever. When I am at home he sits on my knee in the living room and he still enjoys all his cuddles. As for the rest of him well he is very wobbly on the back legs and now cannot use a litter tray. I am now keeping him in the one room as it is easier for me to manage the cleaning up after him. When I brought him home he was spraying, weeing and pooing all over the place which results in a lot of cleaning so I have decided for now just to keep him in the kitchen as it is easier to clean a ceramic floor rather than a carpet. He is in the kitchen if I am out of the house or at night when I am in bed. When I am at home he is allowed into the living room under supervision and he gets his usual cuddles on the settee when I am reading or watching telly. It is so sad to see how he has went down hill over these last few months but I still remain hopeful for his healing. If he was depressed and not eating his food and very despondent then I would have no trouble in taking him to the vet to get him euthanized but as he is still eating well and remaining bright and alert and as a result of all that I now find myself entering into a management program with him. I would appreciate your prayers for me to have the strength to enter into this management program with him and MOSTLY for wee Willow himself as it must be very difficult for a little animal who was once healthy and now finds himself not being able to do the things that he used to do. I am ever so grateful for the internet and the fact that so many people pray for God's creation. Where would we be without it? God Bless you all, Kim Rooney.

He has lost weight but is still eating well and still very alert. Big Problem - he is spraying and pooing all over the place and it is very hard to live with. I am cleaning things down with biological washing powder and surgical spirit. He won't use the litter tray and didn't use it for the vets either. It is causing me a lot of stress and I don't know what to do for the best and I don't want cat urine all round my home. I love him to bits but is it very hard going. Any advice would be most welcome but I just don't know how I am going to stop the spraying. Kim.
