Date of Request:10/12/08 Laura and David's Prayer Request: Please pray for our little Rocky.
We had to put him down last night due to him having a past surgery for wobbler's
disease 3 years ago and really never recovering. He was in so much pain. We
love our Rocky like our child and we will miss him terribly. May God wrap his
arms around Rocky so he will not be in any pain and his Mommy and Daddy will see
him again on day. Mommy and Daddy loves you Rocky forever and ever! You where
the light of our lives and we thank you for all the good times. You where our
little man! May you run through the fields again in heaven and be pain free.

Date of Request:10/10/08 Kristine's Prayer Request: Please pray for Rocco, my sister's 1 yr old Chihuahua. He ate some rat poison and is now in emergency medical care where they are inducing vomiting and flushing his system out. Please pray for a full recovery. This particular poison is very lethal even in small doses and there is no cure. Please pray that they were able to get it all out of his system in time. Thank you! |

He is experiencing some problems with his electrolytes that might be related to the head trauma. He is receiving medical care, fluids, etc. Please pray for his recovery. |

Chihuahua and friend, Paco. He has to have surgery tomorrow. He is allergic to
many types of anesthesia so this is a ricky but necessary surgery. He has the
biggest personality I have ever met and love him. Please pray for his safety and

Please pray that he goes where he's supposed to and my husband and I know how to help him correct this recent issue. Date of Request:10/02/08 Alicia's Prayer Request: Hello, I, and my family, have a
family member who is in need of your prayers. His name is Rex. He's a 1 yr.
old min. pincher. He has been the highlight of most my days and the best friend
to my 9 year old son. I can't begin to express the joy he has added to each of
our lives. Yesterday morning we noticed he was not moving and was very
bloated. Our first thought was that he may have constipation from a change in
diet. After a visit to the vet and the inability to pay a large bill, we decided
to give him till the next day, to leave him there. This morning there was no
improvement. He is now at the vet with failing kidneys, liver and a lot of
fluid was extracted. His chances are not good. We think this may have been the
result of ingesting a black widow spider. The onset of his condition was very
fast. He will remain at the vet for 2 days. Within such time I hope he
recovers and we do not have to put him asleep. We love him very much and hope
and pray for his recovery. We ask that you will pray for Rex as well. Thank
you for letting me share this with you. |

Date of Request:09/28/08 Ron's Prayer Request: Please pray with me for my best friend Toby, he has been by my side since he was 6 weeks old, now almost 11 years old and as i type this, he is laying there right by my side wondering what i am doing. he had his blood platelets drop to 0[zero]then started bleeding, the vet put him on steroids, then his platelets raised to almost normal, now they seem to be dropping again. he is to close a friend to let slip away on me like this. whose going to go out and bring the paper in for me and then stand there waiting for a treat. pray for Toby please, tomorrow at 8am he gets his new blood test. thank you . Date of Request:09/26/08 Pet's Name: Lu Lu Courtney Type of Animal: Dog Location: Austin Missy's prayer request: Truly a miracle...Sweet, spirited, fast-running Lu Lu Courtney escaped from her yard Monday night and ran into traffic on 45th street. Her little white body darting back and forth, as her owner horrified and running after her watched on,...was struck by a car. The force from the blow spun her away from the speeding cars where her owner scooped her up and immediately got her to the vet. The shallow breathing and stiff body on the way to vet was a horrible sign to the owners. Would Lu Lu's trip to the vet be her last? No...indeed NO! No broken bones, no torn fur or skin, no brain, eye, or ear damage. This little white ball of fur had escaped her near-death accident, head held high...a little limp (hopefuly to be fully recovered from ) and her spirit in tact. We are all very thankful for this MIRACLE...thank you baby jesus for watching over Lu Lu, thank you Sarah Byrd and Lexi for watching over her too...In all of your names we pray... |

Little Booger-Gizmo got sick and passed away in my arms 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, as I went to visit his grave in the woods, another of our cats was laying on the grave. A few days ago, my daughter Faith Marie and I were given a kitten a friend of hers saw thrown in a pillow case from a moving car. Thank goodness she was not hurt. Faith Marie named her Sapphire. I miss Booger-Gizmo, whom I held in his final hours, and thank God that He let me have those final moments with him. Why God chose to take Booger's life and let Blackie vanish, all in the same two weeks, I do not understand, but pray He will help me to. I also thank God for Sapphire's rescue. |

We just received news this morning that his kidney function is worse which means we may have to get him put to sleep, or in her opinion, the best scenario is that he has bad kidney damage and will not live very long. He is so special to us...Please pray for him. Thank you... |

Date of Request:9/12/08 Laura's Prayer Request: Please, please, please pray for my kitty Chloe. She diagnosed with the beginnings of kidney failure a few months ago, but with proper diet and medication, I'm helping slow the process down. Now tonight I noticed that one of her pupils is larger than the other and I'm so worried about her. She's been doing so well (cats can live comfortably for years with kidney problems) and I'm afraid. Please pray that her eye is okay. Thanks so much. I love her with all of my heart. |

Date of Request:9/11/08 Janet and Jensen's Prayer Request: My 12 year old daughter, while walking her dog, rescued a tiny kitten from the middle of an alley from another dog. It had a horrible eye infection that covered her entire face. We took her home and cleaned her up and fed her. My daughter know if we took her to our local animal shelter that they would put her out of her misery. But, Jensen offered to give up her horse back riding lessons, so we could afford to take the kitten to the Vet. We sent in a pet prayer request, when we were told she needed eye surgery to save her life. We now have a frisky 'toddler' kitten living in our home. She loves water and jumps into the bath tub with us. Her best friend is her big sister, the dog. Thank you for the prayers. Oh by the way... Journey our one-eye blind kitten thanks you too! |

He is only 4 and has been diagnosed with STAGE III Mast cell cancer. I believe God can work miracles, that when the doctors says no, God can still say yes. Even though he may be just a dog to some people, he is my best friend. He will be going to surgery on Monday (09-08-08) and beginning chemotherapy there after. I ask for all the praying warriors to please pray, it is really appreciated. The Bible say Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” .. God can work the impossible, and all I have is my faith right now and the prayers of the righteous availed much! Please call out my baby's name "Tonex" in prayer! Date of Request:8/22/08 Pet's Name: Willow Type of Animal: Cat Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Kim's Prayer Request: Willow is now back home and on steroids for his
back legs which are still very wobbly. He has lost weight but is still eating
well and still very alert. Big Problem - he is spraying and pooing all over the
place and it is very hard to live with. I am cleaning things down with
biological washing powder and
surgical spirit. He won't use the litter tray and didn't use it for the
vets either. It is causing me a lot of stress and I don't know what to do for
the best and I don't want cat urine all round my home. I love him to bits but is
it very hard going. Any advice would be most welcome but I just don't know how I
am going to stop the spraying. |
