Date of Request:5/26/08 Carol and John's Prayer Request: Please
pray for Chiquita, she has congestive heart failure and as of now she does not
want to eat or drink water on her own. She has noturinated since yesterday
morning (5/25/08). We took her to the emergency vet hospital on Saturday morning
and they released her after giving her H2O and lasix. She was doing fine and
they told us to take her to our vet come Tuesday morning. We can't afford to
take her back to the emergency hospital due to the outrageous funds they charge,
but we are taking her to our vet tomorrow, Tuesday morning(5/27/08). Please pray
that the Lord will give her healing and for all of us to have the strength,
courage, and faith to go on. God, thank you for Chiquita. Please heal her completely. We pray that you will restore Chiquita's strength and bless her family wit the funds to proved her with the best veterinary care. Amen! |

Date of Request:5/24/08 Janice's Prayer Request: Izzy has been gone for 3 week it was hard for me to put him down, I just couldn't see him suffer anymore. He was 17. Got him when he was 9 years old. I took care of him for as long as I could. He had a few strokes and he just couldn't get around anymore. I still miss him and get to crying thinking about him. May he be at peace and hurt no more. mums 7 month old kitten Elfy. He has been a great source of comfort to her over
what has been a difficult few months however he has been diagnosed with renal
problems, gingivitis and I suspect he may have inherited FIP from our previous
cat. His chances currently look slim. Please pray for his health so that he can
continue to be a source of support for my mother, he is a beautiful kitten,

Date of Request:5/21/08 George's Prayer Request: Please pray for my cat, Bubba, who passed away yesterday-5/20/08. He lived a full life and was well loved. I will miss him all the rest of my days. He was 18 years old and was in good health until his mother, Pookie, passed away last September at age 20. They had been together their entire lives and I believe Bubba never stopped mourning her loss. They are together again and waiting for me when it is my turn. I miss them both and will hold them both in my heart until we meet again.

Date of Request:5/18/08 Melissa's Prayer Request: Charlie has been
diagnosed with pancreatitis. He has been in the hospital for 4 days now.
Yesterday, he had a plasma transfusion and today he still has an enlarged
pancreas and fluid around the pancreas. If he does not show improvement by
tomorrow, they will look at performing surgery. He is a lot of pain.
Charlie is my baby, best buddy, shadow and snuggler. I am lost without him
and miss him so much. I just ask for

Date of Request:5/16/08 Jeanine's Prayer Request: Please pray for Spit McGee. Spitty has been eating much for the past 2 weeks. His vet can't find what's wrong. I am becoming frantic with worry. Also, Spitty has Hypertropic Cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, valvue regurges, and very poor septal motion. God spared him from a blood clot in Nov. 2006. Please pray for a
miracle healing from his heart disease.

Date of Request:5/14/08 Michele's Prayer Request: My sweet and dear Cindy left this earth
on March 7, 2008. I still feel the pain and I miss her so much. She
was my little girl for eighteen years. I know that I was lucky to have her
all those years, but I miss her so much. It was the hardest decision I
ever had to make, but I know that it was the right thing to do. Please
pray that Cindy is at peace now and is well. Cindy was a mix and no one
wanted her. I was not too sure if I even wanted to take her in, but she

Date of Request:5/05/08 Anne's Prayer Request: Sabrina, my 11 year old Pekingese, was operated on April 28 to fix tears in her esophagus caused by a dog bite. The prognosis was very grim. She is still hanging in there and is home with me, but there is something else going on in her throat (another hole?) because liquid and some food are coming out. She is going back to the vet tomorrow, May 7, and may have to have another operation. Please pray that Sabrina's throat will be able to get repaired and she will survive. She weighs only 7 lbs. but she is a little fighter. Thank you. Our Prayer: God, we thank you for Sabrina. We pray for a divine intervention and complete healing for her. for my friends Dog Gracie; she is having yet another surgery on either her hip
or her knee (I'm really not sure which one as she has had so many operations for
both). She is not even 3 years old and has a severe case of hip dysplasia and a

joining various members of my family in
Galveston, Texas and from there, we will all be going on a cruise
together, and I have to leave my thirteen and a half-year old cat Toby in my
room during this time. I'll leave him with plenty of food, water and a litter
box. I've done this before when I've gone on trips, and he was fine.The reason I
leave him in my room is because he does not get along with another one of
our cats and they often get into intense yelling matches. Their fights are
always broken up before it can get serious, but because I worry about him...I
keep him in my room. Even though my Father will be here, I can't always depend
on him. He's often careless at times, and I'd feel better keeping Toby in my

Athena suffered severe spinal trauma among other injuries. If she survives she probably will be paralyzed on her hind legs for life. It is miraculous that she did not die from the attack. Damien, the youngest ferret, was just "too much" to care for and was only a baby when he was intercepted from going to the pound. Sage and Rikki are older ferrets, so
there immune system isn't the best. They have taken my daughter's and son's
hearts, as mine has been taken too. Damien is younger so he should be able

Date of Request:2/11/08 Lisa's Prayer Request: My cherished and beloved dog Abbey died on Ash Wednesday. It was an ordinary morning, getting ready for work and my neighbor came over for coffee and brought my baby a steak bone. No thinking anything about it, as Abbey didn't get any bones like that often, but she has in the past. Well, my poor, sweet Abbey died from that bone and I will never, ever forgive myself for it! I think she suffered? I rushed her to the vet. They seemed to think she would be ok but she wasn't. It all happened so quick for me but not for her. I can't sleep without pills. I can hardly eat. I cry at the drop of a dime. I'm so hurt over the loss of my girl. Please God let me know she's ok? And let her know that I'm sorry for what happened!!! I wish I wasn't in such a hurry that morning. She still means everything to me and that I would move heaven and earth to take away any pain she felt! To have her back again with me sleeping in bed with me like she did every night! I miss her so-so much, and hurt so deeply for her. Please pray that she is ok now and I will love her to my death and she's the first thing I want to see when I die. months old budgie, passed on as of 1:30 Thursday afternoon, 31 January 2007.
Buddy had been extremely ill due to an enlarged liver since August 2007. He held
on this long, but never recovered enough weight and strength to survive. He was
a good bird, well-behaved, who brought joy to all who met him. He was always
cheerful and learned many songs in his life. He was playful right up to his
passing. He was always grateful for what he had; my wife and I will miss his
presence and his happy song, and thank the Lord above for allowing us to enjoy
him, and for giving him a few more months in which to live. Thank you God for Buddy. He was a wonderful bird who filled our world with joyful music. Buddy will b loved by Ken and everyone who knew him forever. God, we know that his sweet spirit now eternally abides with your loving presence in peace. Date of Request:2/2/08 Prayer Request for Roger & Mary: Sparky is a fun loving rambunctious 2
year old dog. But this morning we found him dead in the yard. He was
a loveable pet with so much energy that we are at a loss as to what or who could
have done this to him. Please pray as we have that he is a peace,
sitting at our Lord’s Yes, he might have ripped a few things,
peed here and there but he was family for sure. All day and all night Sparky
watched over us and our home. If anything did not seem right to him he would
alert us quickly. His bark would cause me to get up and go out to see what
he was barking at. Often times he was alerting us that a cat was on the
property. Wouldn’t he, have liked to be let loose to chase the cat. Other
times he was barking with our other pet dog Pepito. He would run back and
forth causing Pepito to get excited and bark. He actually We loved watching Sparky take a bone or treat and put in his mouth and wait for us to disappear. When he sure we had gone out of sight he would pace up and down looking for a spot to bury his treat, even though he had not eaten at all. Though he was short like a Beagle, he was as strong as his other blood breed, Rottweiler. He was not ornery or vicious, he was always playful. He bark was just a playful bark. He was very strong and went thru at least 3 cable chains that he managed to break. When he did, he was off running, not away just running. Finally Sparky got so strong that I had to use a strong chain on a swivel so the chain would not tangle. It was TOO funny finding him all twisted up on his old chains standing there sleepily asking for help. When I came up with the swivel action connectors all was fine. We can say that we cared for him, petted him, and played with him, fed him often, food, treats and snacks. Sparky is gone from this world but he will continue to be with us. We wish him well in his journey of forever. We have given him an honorable burial on our property in a carved Rock container I cut into. It took several hours to cut, but it felt that it was the right thing to do for our Friend Sparky. Our Prayer: Thank you God for all of the joy and laughter that Sparky brought into the lives of Mary and Roger. They will love Sparky forever. We are so grateful for the time that you allowed him to exist on earth. God, we know that Sparky is now in your eternal presence. His spirit resides in Heaven surrounded by your love. Please comfort the hearts of Roger and Mary during this challenging time. Amen! |

However, because it is an injury to her cervical area, she is prone to have it occur again. Last week, I heard her cry and not want to go down the one step to the outside, I immediately called the doctor and he said to put her back on her medicine and gave her 2 steroid shots to help it heal and so-far she is still up-right and eating. Her lungs became very small as a result of fluid around them of unknown cause (results in on Tues.) and the vet says they can expand again but she is having problems. After surgery she can not breath completely on her own. She is currently on a vent and I am afraid she had a stroke during surgery. Please pray for her. She is wonderful 4 year pup. Date of Request:12/4/07 Jennifer's Prayer Request: Flirt was diagnosed with cancer of the right lung. She had trouble breathing and loss of appetite. She was constantly nauseous and was unable to keep any food in her system. She drastically lost weight and her eyes told me so much. As much pain as I was experiencing I made the brave choice to finally have her euthanized. She is also due to be cremated. Date of Request:11/29/07 Becky's Prayer Request: This is an unusual request. I am moving to the country because I have more pets than I am allowed to have by our city ordinance. This is not an insurmountable problem but...we live on a cul-de-sac with a small lake. We have next couple of weeks and cannot find anyone to feed about 30 some odd geese and ducks. Soon after I moved here the lady who fed them became ill, I took over the feeding and have continued since she died. Now I'm faced with this move in them even a few days a week. I think this is going to take a miracle. Our Prayer: Thank you God for the Ducks and Geese. We also are grateful for all of the pets that Becky loves and cares for each day. A few weeks ago he collapsed after playing outside and he's been in guarded condition since then. I have bipolar disorder and this cat has been the only thing that's made my life worth living. I found him when I was on the verge of suicide, right after I begged God to give me a sign that life had meaning. I named him Nathan and later found out that it means "gift from God". Date of Request:10/27/07 Kim's Prayer Request: Blessing is a 5 year old miniature dachshund. My little baby ! I left Blessing in someone's care about a week ago when I went into the hospital for surgery. Blessing had some sort of accident while in the care of this friend, I'm thinking maybe she fell off a bed. Blessing is now paralyzed on her back end, vet says she has sustained trauma to two of her vertebrae. The vet gave me medicine for swelling, telling me if the medicine doesn't work, she'll need a $5,000 surgery. I'm disabled and could never afford this. She's still a young dog full of life, the thought of having to "put her down" truly sickens me. Please pray for Blessing- Our Prayer: God, we thank you for sweet little Blessing. Date of Request:10/08/07 Tiki's Prayer Request: My 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier was recently diagnosed with Kidney Disease, after being treated for a bladder infection. I was told that my pet had a higher amount of protein in her urine on October 1,2007 indicating Kidney Disease. The vet did not start treatment on my pet in June in which showed that the protein was a little out of the normal when being treated for a cough, but jumped a bit higher in October. She is on a high blood pressure medicine, aspirin and omega 3 oil capsule everyday. She was given a test on her kidneys that showed no problems and blood test came out fine. The vet has her on high blood pressure medicine, an aspirin and a omega3 oil capsule a day now. Please pray for my pet, although she is eating and seems great now...I need prayers to cure this. They were unable to stop the vomiting and they are now doing an x-ray. Howey is only 9 months old and he is so spirited. Date of Request:09/24/07 Janine's Prayer Request: My prayer request is for a little Cat named Charlie. My Fiancé and I bought our first home 2 months ago and Charlie came with the house. We decided to keep her, and we noticed she was pregnant. So we thought after she has her babies we will get her spayed and her shots up to date. However a week ago today, a dog from down the road attacked her and almost killed her. Unfortunately she lost her kittens, but I couldn't put her down too, so I agreed to the surgery to fix the hernias, that the dog attack caused. She is home, and purring, but she is still not using her back legs to walk. I ask that you keep her in your prayers that she heals and will walk again soon. Thank you so much. It is appreciated. Date of Request:09/20/07 Susan's Prayer Request My dear friends: His blood work was good, he'd been treated aggressively with strong anti-biotics and pain meds but he began losing weight rapidly. He went from a robust 16-lbs to barely over 10. He is now in the care of a holistic vet who practices Chinese medicine. He's received three acupuncture treatments, various herbs and is being "force-fed" twice a day. He has gained about a pound and I believe we have stopped the rapid weight loss, but he still fails to show interest in eating or drinking on his own. Our Prayer: Thank you God for allowing Sundance to have someone who loves him as much as Susan clearly does. God, we ask that you will heal Sundance. We also pray that you financially bless Susan so that she can continue freely funding the care for Sundance. Our spirit and prayers surround this experience and we pray that Sundance will heal completely and live his life in joy. Amen! |

Date of Request:09/20/07 Julia's Prayer Request: I live in Portland, Oregon and my fluffy cat Twinkie has been missing since 9/13/07. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and stays virtually in the neighborhood when left outside. We've had some Coyotes venturing throughout the area lately and he could have been chased away by them and is now a displaced kitty. He may be trapped someplace, injured, and can not find his way home. We pray for his safe return. My husband and I are moving to a new home and looked everywhere for a great place to live for the three of us...and we did. But our cat Twinkie suddenly vanished the morning of the 13th. Every afternoon when I would come home from work, there he'd be, sitting on the doorstep waiting for my arrival. But my heart aches not seeing him there. My parents passed away during the course of a year along with my dear sister and one of our older cats. With our cat Twinkie missing, life is extremely unbearable. And may God Bless you all, God, we are grateful Twinkie's family knows that you you have power to do all things. We pray that you will keep Twinkie safe and allow him to return safely to his family. Date of Request:09/01/07 Michele's Prayer Request: I am at the point of asking for a Miracle for my loving Rat Cat. At the beginning of the year, Rat Cat was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Since January, I have taken him to get his lungs taped a total of six times. The vet says that Rat Cat is not suffering, but I don't want him to even get to the point of suffering. Please pray that God will miraculously heal Rat Cat from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. He's my baby boy & I want him to have a healthy & happy life with me. Thanks in advance!
